Ah Emma thats a truely horrible time you have had Its scary how frail life can be and what can go wrong. Dealing with death is the biggest event that can happen to anyone in life and the hardest to cope with. Here’s a big ol’ virtual hug Emma. I’m so sorry you’ve had all these things to deal with. I’ve felt before that the universe was ‘ganging up’ on me, and sadly these things do sometimes seem to happen all at once. I’ve had quite a few experiences of death close to me as well but thankfully all have been sudden and I can’t imagine the strain of knowing that a death from terminal illness is approaching with each day that passes. You say though that you “can’t cope” with death – and yet you have done so many times already. Crying in front of the mirror or running out of a church doesn’t mean you can’t cope, it means you are grieving – the emotions you felt are a normal and indeed necessary part of the process. Death is horrible and hard and gut wrenching and at the time you feel like you will never breathe easy again – but you do, and you will, when all this is over. In the meantime just you take it one day at a time x

It is horrible & upsets me thinking to the days where I am facing the same situation as you. So I truly send my love & hugs from the bottom of my heart as watching someone just die in front of you is the most soul destroying thing you ever have to deal with. Blackberry smartphones are far from shite. I’ve had a Blackberry since you had to wear them on your belt cause they fit in no man’s pocket.

They are however primarily business phones, but they can definitely be enjoyed by everyone. If emails and business are big on your agenda I would always recommend the Blackberry as it’s the only smartphone with true push email and has excellent on the go office packages.

However, if you want pleasure over business then iPhone is the only way to go. Way I see it the Smartphone battle is a two phone fight. Blackberry for business, iPhone for fun.

I’d recommend waiting it out or switching to someone else.. 24 months seems a lot! I’ve got an excellent 18 month term with vodafone. £35 / month for unlimited everything – data transfer, blackberry internet (including using my phone as a modem!), calls, texts, media texts… all unlimited!

Well, the iPhone 4 camera takes some great shots and has a really great range of camera apps available for tweaking them.

Any smartphone you get now will be WiFi capable and have a data allowance.

Blackberry’s are shite.

HTC Desire is a nice phone, but doesn’t make sense to my head after 3 years of iPhone use. I’m completely warped into that way of thinking. If your contract is up, can you not switch? I’m probably going to switch to 3 to get the iPhone 4 relatively cheap – I’ll be on iPhone forever – I’m too invested with all the apps I’ve bought, plus I have it working just the way I want.

If you’re already using a lot of Google’s services though, an HTC Desire or the EVO when it comes out, maybe? Certainly the people I know who have them are very pleased.

All have good cameras and all the main stuff you want. Really it comes down to price, contract and which way you want to go – Apple or Google. Bear in mind that you can use all Google’s services on an iPhone just as easily.
