Irregular Choice Picks

The crazier the better is a mantra I generally go by when it comes to accessories. So its no surprise that Irregular Choice is one of my favourite brands. Here are my picks from the current stock on site.

See below the jump for links to product pages, and if you would like to contribute towards me buying any of these, check out my Blog Sale!!

Pretty As A Peacock

Peacocks have a great sale on at the mo, and are offering free delivery if you spend £30, which really wouldn’t be too hard!

My picks from the sale are below, all prices are accurate at time of blogging!

Cute to dress down with a cardi, tights and either black or brown boots, its hard to see what the darkest colour is on this dress. No need for accessories, let the pattern do the talking.  Ladies 60s Print Shift Dress £9

Flared skirts are EVERYWHERE. Which isn’t such a bad thing.  They flatter all shapes, forgive your Food Baby Belly after a big lunch .The problems come when the wind lifts it round you head, and when shops insist on making them short enough to see what food that baby ate for lunch.  This one promises to fall just below the knee, which is much more like it. the contrasting side panels, and zip make for something just a little bit different from all the skater dresses out there.   Fit & Flare Colour Block Dress £14

This skirt has a bit of a mullet going on, but I think it would be perfect with chunky boots and a huge wool scarf in the snow! Slinky Dip Hem Skirt £8

Unfortunately this dress suffers from poor styling, well, I certainly wouldn’t wear that dress with THOSE heels.  I really think it needs a wide belt, and knee high black boots.  Add a wide floppy hat for a real ’70s feel.  Hanky Hem Dress £11

Another ‘mullet’ skirt, I really like the rust colour of this one, but would reserve judgement until I seen the fabric, it looks a bit shiny. But I like a challenge.  Its in a new range, called Peacocks by Design, and is available in mid brown and teal.  Dip Hem skirt £14

Perhaps my favourite out of all the dresses, and for £20, its a bargain.  Peacocks can be touch and go with their quality, but this is again from the new by Design range, so I would like to think they addressed those issues.  This dress would get worn a lot!!  Colour Block Dress £20

Im keen to try a leather skirt, and this faux leather one could be a cheap way to discover that its actually not for me at all.  I envision wearing it to work, with a crisp white shirt, but reality? I wouldn’t have a clue what shoes to wear with it, and would squeek against my faux leather chair all day.  Pleat Centre Hem Skirt £9

Photobucket

Yeah, I need these.  Brogue Heel Boots £24.50

Available in brown ’leather’ or black faux suede, these wedge heels would be a welcome addition to any wardrobe. I might  have to get the black! Wedge boots both styles £21

These surprised me when I came across them, pleasantly!! Peacocks shoes can be on the small, and narrow side, so again, I’d have to see these in real life, before I committed to them.  Holly Round Toe Block Platform Heels £17.50

My most favourite shoes EVER. Its true love

Shoooooeeeessss

I went in search of the KG Minney heels, but it seems they only stock Miss KG in Debenhams, and online, and not in House of Fraser, or Kurt Geiger stores! Which is a bit silly, really, cos I hate Debenhams, and then didn’t go to try them on.
But my heart was stolen just a day later, by the Jessica Simpson heels in the Polyvore set below. Amazing chunky heels, they just SCREAM out to me.

And they scream loud, because they are sitting in a box right beside me and I haven’t got a chance to open it yet!! Literally going to explode if I don’t get them on my feet soon!

They arent a bit Mousey! Miss KG ‘Minnie’

Photobucket

Oh if only I wasnt completely skint! I dont know if I can hold off for birthday money to buy these shoes, I will be in the Kurt Geiger shop on 13th August, a whole 2 WEEKS before my birthday! Not fair.

Buy Miss KG Minnie heels here. Also in purple and black.

New Shoes! M&S, Primark & Topshop Unique

I’ve been ebaying :D
M&S Heels, 99p, thank you very much!

Photobucket

Again, 99p, Primark Gucci-esque heels that never made it to my local store.

Photobucket

Finally, Topshop Unique heels. £38 on ebay, still with the stickers saying £115 original price.  I am undecided on them, especially what to wear with them!

The one with the firemen….

Yesterday was Car Boot Sale day.  And it was fun! I picked up these.

Photobucket

The books were 3 for £1, and the Bad Cat one is like LOL Cats, its so cute! I love the necklace, £12 and hand made locally by a lovely lady, who calls the brand The Clock And The Cat. Adorable! Each piece is individual, and amazing quality, such a pity she doesn’t sell online.

The highlight of the day was the fire men. What is it about a man in rubber that makes women go weak at the knees? They even had their big tools out! Of course I am talking about the Jaws of Life (yes they really are called that!) and a pneumatic cutting claw. I have such total respect for the men and women in the fire service, as I know I could never manage what they do.

However, it was these two firemen that I took home with me!

Photobucket

Of course, I did the whole day in heels! Sometimes I dont know why either….. but they are new, and I hadn’t had a chance to wear them yet! But I am pleased to say, after a short walk there and back, and 1.5hrs dandering around, they were super comfy. From Clothing at Tesco £18, but I had 30% off! Absolute bargain.

Did You Hear That??

Did you hear that noise?  It was the sound of my heart breaking.

Jimmy Choo have decided with H&M that Northern Ireland stores are not going to stock one, if not THE most eagerly awaited designer high street collaborations of all time.  The Jimmy Choo @ H&M shoe and clothing range.

GUTTED doesn’t come near.
