I managed to get dressed today!! AND I’m doing a different pose! I surprise myself some days.

Still ill, but someone had to help Santa. -1C today over the mountain, but I struggled on shopping in 50 denier purple tights from Matalan, the lace-up boots that have featured in so many posts this week, a dress by Fever, and a big coat. I promise the slippers were only worn in the evening!

I fell at only the 3rd hurdle.  Shocking.  I’m not well, and spent the entire day in my pjs.  I’ll catch up for the missing day soon!

I somehow managed to only buy 2 of the things from my Peacocks post. It is probably down to the fact that I’m skint, rather than showing amazing self-restraint.

Firstly, I HAD to buy new black boots, that I can wear with just about everything, seeing as my United Nude boots died. So I picked the slightly hardier lace up boots, rather than the faux suede. They are comfy, and adjustable, so will be worn over jeans, once Dressember is finished!!

The second purchase was of the Colour Block dress, for £20. I want to love it, I did when I spied it on the website, and the skirt of it is fantastic, great length and floaty too, but the top might be just a bit too big on me. I guess it would look ok with a cardigan for colder times, and a huge necklace to distract from the looseness. What do you think? Is it ridiculous looking?

A-Wear dress, Schuh boots, random belt from somewhere.

Today was freezing, and I learned if I want to continue with Dressember, and not loose any toes, I need to invest in some SERIOUS hosiery.  My legs were baltic today!

Today wasn’t just “Advent Calendar Day!” it was also the start of Dressember, an easy to take part in exercise, where all you have to do is wear a dress every day, and take a picture. The aim? Is to make some money for Action for Children, but also to have fun, and to get to dress up!! If I remember last year, there was a ball gown day. I’m not sure what I will do for that, but I’m looking forward to it!

To take part you must:
- Wear a dress every day of December.
- Take a picture every day.
- Upload the pictures to your blog/twitter/facebook/WIWT marking it as Dressember.
- Check out everyone else’s pictures, and make sure and share the dress love!

Its really as easy as that. Here’s my first post!

The dress is from Primark, cardigan from Woodside’s, tights (which are now in the bin cos my boots ripped a hole in them) were from River Island last winter, and the boots are from NV.  Oh and the hat is from the kids section in ASDA.
