I bought a green dress. A real green dress, and its not cruel, actually its quite fabulous.

My first purchase from A-Wear, and Closet, and I have to say I was very impressed. Received it within a couple of days (was a bank holiday here too) and it was packaged in a shiny parcel, which was a nice touch. Well worth the £20 I paid, had a free P&P code. Gorgeous dress, loads of material in the skirt, so I played it safe and wore a slip underneath, in case of rogue gusts of wind!

I really shouldn’t walk too far in these heels…… I am now on a quest to find the perfect red shoes, that don’t kill my feet!

Sindy was a rival to Barbie. She had a huge head, smaller boobs, and bigger feet. Her boyfriend was called Paul. He had no bigger a man-bulge than Ken. She never quite hit the big time, and controversially had a facelift in the late ’90s. They were kinda like Jordan, and Jodie Marsh. Both Both denying plastic surgery, but clearly trying to out-do each other, to hilarious results. Only Sindy and Barbie stuck to their long term, long suffering partners!!

I had Sindy’s, never Barbies. I had a few different dolls, one which you could cut her hair, and then pull on it to make it longer again. You got a spare lump of hair that you stuck in her back once you had finished butchering the first lot. Even at a young age, it was very clear that I was never going to have a career as a hair dresser.

Today thanks to Topshop Sindy looks a little different though.

Available in blue and pink for £80, its probably cheaper than Barbie’s dog that piddles on a piece of newspaper…….

The River Island sale is dangerous.  I missed out on the lemon dress that was so popular among my Twitter pals at the start of the week, but theres still plenty of bargains to be had!
