Dustland Fairytale

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Princess, who we will call Emma. Princess Emma lived in a small castle, but she still liked to dress in her fancy jewels and clothes. But there was something missing. Something leather, and high heeled, and stamped with Jimmy Choo on the sole.

She pined for Jimmy Choo for so long, until one day, Prince Charming rode into court with a box. She could smell the leather for miles.

Inside the box was these.

Princess Emma was over the moon! She had finally got the one thing she had craved for so many years. But alas, it was not to be. Although Jimmy Choo was beautiful, and buttery and soft, he was just too tall for our pretty Princess, and he rubbed the back of her knee. She tried to get used to him, but she could not. And as Jimmy is such a handsome chap, it was a sin to keep him cooped up in the castle, never to be seen.

So he got sold on Ebay, thankfully for a profit.

Princess Emma still dreams of that week her and Jimmy spent together, and she peers out from her tower, hoping to catch a glimpse of him, or his shorter younger brother some day.

Le sigh.

The one with the firemen….

Yesterday was Car Boot Sale day.  And it was fun! I picked up these.

The books were 3 for £1, and the Bad Cat one is like LOL Cats, its so cute! I love the necklace, £12 and hand made locally by a lovely lady, who calls the brand The Clock And The Cat. Adorable! Each piece is individual, and amazing quality, such a pity she doesn’t sell online.

The highlight of the day was the fire men. What is it about a man in rubber that makes women go weak at the knees? They even had their big tools out! Of course I am talking about the Jaws of Life (yes they really are called that!) and a pneumatic cutting claw. I have such total respect for the men and women in the fire service, as I know I could never manage what they do.

However, it was these two firemen that I took home with me!

Of course, I did the whole day in heels! Sometimes I dont know why either….. but they are new, and I hadn’t had a chance to wear them yet! But I am pleased to say, after a short walk there and back, and 1.5hrs dandering around, they were super comfy. From Clothing at Tesco £18, but I had 30% off! Absolute bargain.
